Tuesday, February 23rd is "NATIONAL DOG BISCUIT DAY." Whether store bought or homemade, don't forget to treat your dog to a tasty and nutritious dog biscuit. A dog biscuit is a hard biscuit-based dietary supplement for dogs or other canines typically consisting of protein, carbohydrates, fat and fiber. Dog biscuits were invented in London in the 1800s and have now become a multimillion dollar industry. Because of health and environmental concerns in recent years, many pet owners have opted to make or buy their own homemade treats and dog food, which has given rise to specialty and gourmet cuisine for your canine pets.

Interested in making your own homemade dog food and pet treats, but not sure how? Chef Edward Mac of Canine Culinary Creations teaches workshops for those interested in making creative, custom and all-natural pet food in the comfort of your own home. Workshops are based around customer requests.
